Well, I think it’s time to discuss the last book in the Midnighters trilogy. 

We are in Bixby, Oklahoma where the world freezes at midnight, giving the opportunity for some people to live an extra hour. An hour where monsters come to life, craving for a human snack. 

But everything is under control, because the monsters won’t crawl out of the shadows until it strikes midnight. Until the secret hour comes ... in the middle of the day.

Touching Darkness

Touching Darkness is the second book in the Midnighter trilogy. Jessica Day knows who she is now and what she can do. Life seems easier. Well, until she learns that someone is watching her. And not in Blue Time, but in real time.

There are people who know about Midnighters and they are willing to risk their lives to find them. But why? Something weird is going on in Bixby and it’s time for the Midnighters to figure it out. Will they find the truth about the Blue Time or they could lose one of them forever?

After I read the Uglies series by Westerfeld  I was eager to read something else written by him. Then a friend told me about this series where some people have an extra hour every day and the world freezes around them giving it’s place to another world with monsters and secrets ...

The Uglies series

The month is about to end and I hadn’t talk about any books lately, well except than mine. So, I decided to discuss with you the Uglies. For those who don’t know, this is a series of books, written by Scott Westerfeld and it’s about a young girl, named Tally Youngblood and her ‘weird’ world. The story begins in Uglies, continues in Pretties, ends in Specials and there is another story in that same world, Extras. So, join me in a discussion about those four books, but be careful, it might get Ugly. (Just kidding, join me. J)
