Sharp Objects
I promised I
would blog about this book and how could I leave it aside? I mean … wow! This
book is the first read that excites me so much after my beloved Harry Hole, by
Jo Nesbo. This book is written by Gillian Flynn and, if I’m not mistaken, this
was her debut novel. It’s a psychological thriller with a very interesting
character and a more interesting plot. If you don’t have already added it to
your TBR list. I say you do it soon!
So, join me to a spoiler free (as always) discussion about Sharp Objects. Awesome
title, huh?

Please oh please write
Things are a
little chaotic lately. I’ve been feeling that there are so many things that
need to be done and it’s like I’m everywhere. Like there is a disruption for no
reason and I have too much stress. Maybe it’s because I want to do so many
things and there are so many obstacles. But there is also a good thing too.
I’m writing
again in a tight schedule! YAY!

Siren Suicides by Ksenia Anske
Today I want
to share with you my thoughts about Siren Suicides series, by Ksenia Anske. But
first I want to say a few words.
I ‘met’
Ksenia through Twitter a while after I created my account. She, like me, was
working on her first novel and she, like me, was very passionate about her
writing. So we had a few things in common and she was the first indie writer I
followed. It was fun reading her tweets and talking to her.

Dream on
Lately I
spent too much time editing Divided and then I spent too many hours thinking
about Damaged, the sequel I’m currently writing. So a big chunk of my everyday ‘routine’
was about my books and my writing. As many of you know, it’s really hard to
write a book and many times very emotional. So I had my ups and downs for a
pretty long time.
Then I read
somewhere a few funny words that I don’t seem to forget and I want to share
with you the thoughts that were born in my mind. It was a picture and it said:
One day we should fight: Dreamers and realists. Only we would have unicorns,
elves and dragons. You’re fucked. (Sorry for the F word.)

The Shining
So, I read The
Shining, by Stephen King. You know, the one like the movie, where Jack
Nicholson gone mad in a huge hotel up to the mountains. There was blood and
ghosts and too much screaming. Yes, I read it and my skin crawled, the house
felt too quiet and the lights were always on.
Let’s say a
few things. What do you say?
