Dream on

Lately I spent too much time editing Divided and then I spent too many hours thinking about Damaged, the sequel I’m currently writing. So a big chunk of my everyday ‘routine’ was about my books and my writing. As many of you know, it’s really hard to write a book and many times very emotional. So I had my ups and downs for a pretty long time.

Then I read somewhere a few funny words that I don’t seem to forget and I want to share with you the thoughts that were born in my mind. It was a picture and it said: One day we should fight: Dreamers and realists. Only we would have unicorns, elves and dragons. You’re fucked. (Sorry for the F word.)

The Shining

So, I read The Shining, by Stephen King. You know, the one like the movie, where Jack Nicholson gone mad in a huge hotel up to the mountains. There was blood and ghosts and too much screaming. Yes, I read it and my skin crawled, the house felt too quiet and the lights were always on.
