Night of Cake and Puppets by Laini Taylor

What a book!

So, this is the second novella I ever read and I think I'm starting to like the concept of a novella. Especially since those two were amazing. First Shadows by L. J. Armentrout and now this one by Laini Taylor.

It's been a while since I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone series (I still have to read the third book too) and I had completely forgotten how much I love Laini's writing! I mean, when I started Night of Cake and Puppets it swept me off my feet.

Days of blood and starlight

Days of blood and starlight! Oh, how I love this title. I was hooked even before I start reading it. It is so powerful that made my mind go crazy. And I wasn’t wrong.

This is the second book in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series, and a very interesting read. Let’s talk about it. But before you click the button take a look at the discussion on the first book, here, if you haven’t read it yet.

Daughter of smoke and Bone

Daughter of smoke and Bone. I’m sure many of you are familiar with this title. It’s a book I wanted to read for a while and I finally read it. 

It was good, maybe beyond good, it was great, but there are some things that could have been better. At least that’s what I think.
