Stolen Summer

I wake up sweaty since the heat is unbearable. I hardly slept last night and my heart hammers as if something is wrong. 

I head straight to the bathroom and let the cold water run on my body. It's refreshing, so much that I chill but I stay there under the water until I can breathe again.

Summer and Writing

Well, it’s summer which means everything slows down. It’s not a rule, but I strongly believe that summers are like ‘dead’ seasons for work. Maybe it’s the sun, the sea, the temperature, but it’s hard to do your things. When I hear the word ‘summer’ the first thing that comes to mind is vacations. Am I right? :) But what this means for the things we love and we have to leave behind?
