This is Think out Loud. It’s a weekly meme created to help bloggers break out from the blogging bubble. The rules are simple. We post whatever we want and let people know what’s in our mind. Visit the creator on Thinks Books and join too. It’s so cool to share your random thoughts.
Today I will
be brief.
As people
say, a picture is more than the words (even though the worlds are so powerful)
so, I will let you see a picture and create your own words. What do you say?
The place
you’ll see is Brugge, in Belgium. I traveled there back in 2010, but this
particular place in Brugge can’t leave my mind. It reminds me another era,
another place and my mind go wild, thinking of dragons and castles and
stories. I could sit there without complaining, but it’s too far away! Damn.
I can swear
I can almost see characters living their story in this place. It was so
magical.
So, I’m here
to share the magic. I hope you’ll feel it.
Do you feel it? :)
I do feel the magic when I look at this picture.
ReplyDelete:) That's the spirit!
DeleteIt is very inspiring, Athina. I love images like this one that refuse to fade in my mind. They build stories even if they aren't in them. I can't imagine how it would feel to see this scene for real. Have you written anything that takes place there? I think of the writer Amelia Atwater Rhodes and a few of the scenes in her books. She writes fantasy with shapeshifters and vampires. Thanks for sharing! I love it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic Athina. I really wish I had a writer's mind!
