It's like deja vu with Green's Paper Towns but I heard lots of good news of this.

Yani @ www.paperboulevard.comYanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14027868979090442584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8903506778843918994.post-74752962658498851372015-04-23T06:54:35.601+03:002015-04-23T06:54:35.601+03:00Oh the new floors. There was one nice chair which turned into a "I was there first!" deal too many times. But the trip was wonderful. It even snowed. Did you get time in the sun and sand? Maybe the time away from the dark story will push you right where you want to take your MC.

Happy flying, Athina!!!robgirlbookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03398614063792587098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8903506778843918994.post-70222495014689350012015-04-21T15:16:21.993+03:002015-04-21T15:16:21.993+03:00I remember seeing a lot of praise for this book in...I remember seeing a lot of praise for this book in the past. Until your post, though, I never really knew anything about this book, I must admit. I didn't even know Alaska was an actual person. I thought the title was referencing...y'know...the state. I could not relate to the characters at all and I didn't like Alaska. Probably because she reminded me of the bad influence girl my younger brother was dating at the time I read this. Lol!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, though!

Pearl @ AsteriskPearl's Book BlogAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13959053585494348765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8903506778843918994.post-17695289845144762382015-04-20T11:29:19.155+03:002015-04-20T11:29:19.155+03:00It was too much routine I can see why you DNF this...It was too much routine I can see why you DNF this one.

Thanks for stopping by!Athinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11485560779521386981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8903506778843918994.post-51088417515351816312015-04-20T11:24:48.243+03:002015-04-20T11:24:48.243+03:00Yes, maybe we're "too old for this shit!&...Yes, maybe we're "too old for this shit!":D heheehe

I want to read fault in our stars too at some point!

Thanks for stopping by, Ki!Athinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11485560779521386981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8903506778843918994.post-47170431573385154662015-04-20T11:22:43.751+03:002015-04-20T11:22:43.751+03:00Hey Robyn!

What we can do , right? Now that I'm back I need to find time to finish the dark story since it's so close to finish that it hurts I don't have time.
Did you have a wonderful time? How was the new floors but no furniture experience? :)Athinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11485560779521386981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8903506778843918994.post-7956197047220127032015-04-19T22:53:24.578+03:002015-04-19T22:53:24.578+03:00Wow, I haven't read this book but I heard lots...Wow, I haven't read this book but I heard lots of teenagers love it. Maybe I'm just not young like that anymore to feel that but I do enjoy good books. I haven't even read Fault in our Stars even if it's on my shelf. I never pulled the trigger and read it. From the blurb and title I felt the same thing as you. I love how the MC was sort of there to give you Alaska. I also love how John Green doesn't write anything snazzy or fancy, but he wraps his characters around you thoroughly.

How's the writing going? Still on the dark story? Oh, how was your trip? I'm remember something about you traveling soon, but work has sucked out my brain. I am not kidding.robgirlbookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03398614063792587098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8903506778843918994.post-22373712880721735792015-04-18T23:16:56.653+03:002015-04-18T23:16:56.653+03:00Absolutely agree with everything you're saying...Absolutely agree with everything you're saying. Isn't that one Green's debut novel? There is just so much school routine to the whole thing that I really couldn't even bother finishing it. If I wanna read about everyday school, I don't need to read a book.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14732849096161512735noreply@blogger.com
