Think Out Loud: The Beach

This is Think out Loud. It’s a weekly meme created to help bloggers break out from the blogging bubble. The rules are simple. We post whatever we want and let people know what’s in our mind. Visit the creator on Thinks Books and join too. It’s so cool to share your random thoughts.

It smelled summer, did you notice?

The birds are chirping, the weather is getting hotter and the sun is so bright and beautiful. I wake up smiling as I see the world so colorful and vivid. It makes dreaming and I want to do stuff.

And so I went to the beach!

Last week I visited my parents’ house for three days and of course I went to the sea. Ignoring the windy day I put on my swimsuit, took my book and off I went! I love this time of year because the beach was almost empty so I heard the waves and enjoyed the warmth on my skin. It was the best way to relax and stop thinking. And tanning of course!:)

I already miss the beach, but the summer is about to start. Have you got any plans? Did you smell the summer?:)

Have a great weekend!

  2. I'm so happy warmer weather is finally here! I didn't think it was ever going to stop snowing here in Ohio. We stayed in a cabin over the weekend and had a lot of fun. I can't eat hamburgers for a while - we cook SO many of those when we camp, lol.

I'd love to go to the beach! Your weekend sounds heavenly! :)

    1. Oh, a cabin! It must have been great, right? I wish for more beautiful weekends like that one. And you should go to the beach!:)

I haven't eaten burger since last month, but now I crave for one!
      Thanks for stopping by, Jennifer!

  3. This is wonderful. I can see you there enjoying your own personal beach with the wind and waves, sand and birds. I love it! We haven't made the trek to the beach yet. The Pacific in all it's glory is a 3 hour drive and totally worth it. Will falls into the sand and makes sand angels. We all love standing in the freezing water and getting hit by waves. We hold hands and screech. We get sandwiches at Subway and have a picnic. It's the best dang time. We just have to wait until it's at least 65 otherwise we freeze! Soon. I've been stalking the weather forecasts.

Summer! I hope you have a wonderful week, Athina!

    1. I love the picture you're creating, Robyn. Having fun with your kids, falling into the sand and let the waves hit on your body ... oh ... wonderful. I hope you can make that three hour drive soon.

Have a great week and thank you for stopping by. :)
