Think Out Loud: Night in Paris

This is Think out Loud. It’s a weekly meme created to help bloggers break out from the blogging bubble. The rules are simple. We post whatever we want and let people know what’s in our mind. Visit the creator on Thinks Books and join too. It’s so cool to share your random thoughts.

Thursday night. I’m home, but my mind wanders.

What a powerful tool a mind is, right? So beautifully unpredictable. It can make us fly or it can chop our wings in small little pieces and we hit the ground face first.

Today I’m in flying mood.

Happy images, great moments and unforgettable memories cross my mind, but not in fast forward.

There is no panic in my mind right now. Just an addictive peace like the world is almost frozen. Almost. So I get to relive that unprecedented feeling of walking in Paris an August night. Feet hurting, stomach growling, but happiness covering me like a cocoon.

That is what I’m thinking out loud today.

Want to take a peek?

Do you feel the quietness?

  2. Lucky you! Feeling happy like that is always a wonderful thing, and often rare, too. Hold on to this feeling for as long as you can!

    1. It's not exactly happiness. Happiness was that night almost a year ago. It's the quietness I had missed, but it didn't last too long.

I wish you a happy weekend, Heather.
