Feature and Follow #23: One book for ever

It's Friday and here is another Feature and Follow.
You know how it works; AlisonCan Read and Parajunkee are the hosts and every week they have a new question for us to answer.  It’s a way to meet new blogs and bloggers and socialize. :) In the links above you can learn how you can join too and everything there is to  know.
So, go grab the button and start meeting new people!!!

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: If you could only have ONE - one book - for the rest of your life. Don't cheat ... what would it be?

Wow. I hadn’t see this coming! Just one book? Seriously? Hmmm, I have to think about it and I won’t cheat. :) But, who am I kidding, I already know the answer.

Well, it should be a book with action because I love action. But it should have lots of mystery and twists and turns. Something to make me wonder and keep me alert. Maybe with a touch of magic and an another world, but it would also have the real world so it would be twice exciting and unpredictable. One MC, but two way different worlds and she – she would be a woman of course – would have to struggle in both of them, trying to find answers, trying to survive. Her worlds would be changing, nothing would be given, and it would have killings. Many killings because characters must die, right? But it wouldn’t stop only in one book, because the story is powerful and strong and she couldn’t have possibly survive only a single book so it would be a series, but since you want one I guess it would be a huge book so I could read it nonstop and want more.

Well, I know this book, I wrote this book, following the rule that says: Don’t wait for the book you want, just write it. And I did, I wrote Divided and I want to edit it in order to share it with you. Money of course is an issue so I’m doing everything alone and it takes time but this book exists and I want so much for you to read it.

Here is a small taste of Divided, the Prologue and Chapter 1.

Please … enjoy. :)

How about you?

Have a great weekend.

  2. WOW! Divided sounds pretty awesome, Athina! I am bookmarking this, because I don't have time to read your prologue and 1st chapter right now. This is really cool.

I hope you've arrived safely home from France, and that you had an excellent time traveling!

    Have a great weekend.

  4. Good choice! ;)

I think I'd be too paranoid about choosing one of my own projects for a question like this, since the cynic in me tends to make me hate my work after a while, haha.

  5. Aww, Athina. I think you'll make a good marketer. I like the way you talked about Divided. Yes, I agree with you. My "one book" for the rest of my life should have lots of action and a huge world building. And killings, too. :)

Thanks for sharing. I hope you'll have a great weekend!

    1. Nah, I don't think I'm a good one. I just write what comes to mind. Sometimes is good, some others not so much. :)
I just love Divided, but Dazed has priority. I hope it's good, lately I'm not in such a good mood about it.

I wish you a good weekend too.

  6. I thinks it's awesome that you have written a book. I'll be checking your Prologue and Chap 1 shortly. Having published my own book I know how hard it is. But don't worry, with perseverance you'll get there. Good Luck!

    1. Actually this is the second book I write, but I am editing, trying to fix everything. I'm sure you know how hard is this. Sometimes it's too dissapointing but I am working for a best result.

I hope you'll like Divided when you read the sample. :)

      Thanks for stopping by.
